Your just trying to catch up with life while still trying to catch your breath! As one phase ends and you desperately try to recover from it, another one comes rolling by straight into you. And off you go trying to balance it all, all over again.
Sometimes it seems like a never ending race! With no one else running alongside.
Through it all just remember there are many others going thru similar phases! Some handling it with a smile and some without!

A close friend moved on! I know she was close... for had it not been for the day to day commitments we all have we would have spent more time together. 
I knew she wasn't well. But hadn't been to see her while she was struggling to stick arround. 
It was like she was waiting to see me.... as I actually just about got a chance to pay my last respects to her. Before she was taken to her final resting place.
Between all of life's comings and goings always make sure you call, message or spend time with the one's who vibe with you.

You see God as your Father, your Teacher, or your Friend?

I see him as my Friend... not just any friend, but my Best Friend. Even closer to me than my shadow. He's there for me the minute I have a fleeting thought of him. He's always there. Listening to every thought I have. Answering every question I have. Sometimes I hear him in the silence and sometimes I don't. But he always hears me. And always has an answer for me. Sometimes I get it sometimes I don't. But that's okay since he knows!

The Hands We Hold

 

The hands we hold.... from the tiny little hands we hold to the wrinkled up ones we hold. Fill us with a wonder and deep feeling of something so unknown! Of trust of love of a knowing that all will be all right always! Of hope and wonder. A wonder that also pushes us on to think of all the things the tiny little hands will do one day!...and all the things achieved by the wrinkled up ones!... Our hands say a lot and can always do a lot. Give thanks to the hands that help you!

When you make things look easy..... people think your lazy!

Thus sometimes efficiency gets a tag of lazy! The more efficiently you prioritize and do things the more time you find... It's the people who are swamped by chores and work, but love there own company so that they can get more time for themselves...who look lazy!

When was the last time you did something that brought you joy?

Be your first priority. 

Finish all your chores as fast as you can, and enjoy the rest of your free time. You earned it!

Moving On..

We all move on from events in our life. Some of us move on quicker than others and some of us take like forever....! but eventually we do move on. When we take our time, sometimes people arround us might not be as patient with us. And want to push us on .... but that wouldn't help in any way. Just like the butterfly goes thru it's struggle to get out of it's cocoon and finally turn into a butterfly, at it's own pace.... We too need to move on... at our own pace! Sometimes some of us might move on too quickly, and it doesn't seem to make sense to the people arround us. But we do! And that shocks them, surprises them, and confuses them too! But it happens! Just like once the butterfly has been thru its struggles and begins to fly...You can't put it back in the cocoon!

 When you have a life in the ICU or NICU You feel like your life's hanging by a thin thread. You don't really know what your doing you might think your sitting when your standing....! You might think your eating while your sleeping.....! you actually just go thru the motions of living on auto pilot. Not really living... but just going thru the actions of life. In a daze. Till one day you just snap out of the daze one way or another! And then start living again!

Losing someone regularly can really get to you.... as people known to you keep moving on to another plane of existance the only way to keep sane is to start viewing things from a different angle.... the angle that they are still with you just not in physical form, they can hear you, see you, feel you.... and what they would want most for the loved ones they leave behind is for them to heal and remember the good times they had together...though that's easier said than done! But it's possible!...

And you can just feel the warmth of it surrounding you.

Trees Our Lifeline

 People have been struggling to breathe.... we have seen that right now during the pandemic....with the oxygen needs! 

But still we have the odacity to cut trees... trees are the ones keeping us alive on this planet. Giving us the oxygen we breathe...that too for free. They need only one thing in return from us.... protection!
And yet we fail them time n time again! And expect cities not to flood and clean air to breathe!! Think again.... when you see a tree. It's holier than a human....! It just doesn't speak our language..... Or I'm sure it would have a lot to say.

Secret empathy...

 

Never knew what writers block ment....till I actually felt it. Same way that we hear of people's experiences all kinds the good the sad the tragic.... and feel for them but the truth is when it hits us we are never prepared. All the stories all the advice all for nothing.... cause sometimes when we're actually in the soup we can remember none of it.... none of our own advice either! That's exactly when we need a nudge from friends and family or God to push us through it all!
